I’m really excited folks. Really, really excited. ArtJournaling.Ning.com is shaping up to be exactly what I wanted to create. I entered into this with a simple vision: I wanted a judgment free place where people who love art journaling could hang out online, share information and where people who want to provide instruction could do so, both for free as well as for profit. An area where we support one another and learn from one another, and folks it’s getting there, it really is!
Some of the other YouTube art journalers have joined up and we’re starting to set up more free workshops and more people are signing up and ArtJournaling.ning.com is turning into a great place on the ‘net.
Our newest person to run a workshop is Connie of DirtyFootPrints-Studio.com She’s set up a workshop about falling in love with your art journal. She’s all about the Art Journaling love and spreading that love. Head over to the Dirty Foot Prints Studio workshop and check out all the good art journal love Connie has to offer. Connie has been a YouTube inspiration to many with her funky and fun videos about Art Journal Love and spreads the love in her own paid workshop, on her blog and now on ArtJournaling.ning.com I’m happy to have her with us and can’t wait to see what else she brings to the table.

Thanks for the kind words Leslie!! I'm loving being a part of your Ning network!! In just these past few days I've learned a whole lot about the different ways of approaching Art Journaling--and have made so many new friends!!! Thanks for being the positive force behind this great community!!!
PS--I gave you and the Ning site a little LOVE on Dirty Footprints Studio tonight as well!
Big hugs!

I have absolutely loved the workshop and am extremely happy with the result: not one but three art journals I made with my own hands, including one with 3 signatures, which I thought to be far too complicated for me to even try. I highly recommend taking this course if you are interested in bookbinding, but have no idea how to start. That and you get to meet great people and talk about what materials to use, and show off your work.

Oops, wrong post. I am talking about Leslie's Make Your Own Art Journal workshop. But you can also join the Ning if you aren't taking any workshops (there are some free ones too!), just come and hang out with some great people, talk about your love of Art Journaling, the materials you use, using text and how to do so, show off your work etc. etc. etc. Come and join the fun!

I'm loving your group Leslie, especially because it is focused on all art journalers, not just the promotion of self. That being said, you are still awesome. :) I am very thankful for the inspiration you continue to provide from both your work and the sharing of others.
