So Ive outgrown Windoze MovieMaker. Actually I had always thought it sucked giant hairy dust bunnies but it wouldn't let me edit into the format that I wanted for the classes. So I'm looking for something new. I first headed over to cnet read some reviews on video editing software. I was surprised that the corel video studio was higher rated than the adobe software. Mostly becuase of the crashing issues. In their review they said that the Corel was slow, but I'm not noticing that at all. If anything now that I've learned how to use it, it's much faster than MovieMaker.
The other software I'm going to try out is the Adobe video editing software. The only issue with it is that if you don't buy it, the trial version put a watermark on the final video.
I've tried a few others, what have you tried?
(Also check out the video about the Ning group below!)

Hi Leslie - you could check out a new software application we've just launched called trakAxPC Pro - http://www.trakax.com
It aimed at the average PC user, so a very quick learning curve, but has all the features that you need to create great looking videos (PIP, direct Upload to YouTube HD, all major file formats supported, text and credits, automatic crossfading etc.). If you do get a chance to check it out, would love to hear your feedback.
Thanks,
Catriona - trakax.com

I am also looking for video editing software. I'm on a mac, and have used iMovie that comes with macs. It's fine, but I think I needed something more. Did you find any good info?
P.S. I joined your ning today!

I ended up going with Corels Video Studio. Its easy to use, rings in at $60 (sometimes less if they have a sale) and with my PC runs well, I believe they have a mac version of it. I can recommend it now, I had fits with it when I first got he full version as a windoze update caused my computer to crash repeatedly when I would even look at it. Now it renders well, quickly even, and does a good job.
AS for capabilities it does pretty well. Im able to do everything that I would like to do, including if I so choose run a picture in picture video, overlay several layers of audio, record my voice over everything if I would like and import a close captioned file. The text options are very easy to use once you figure out the way they work. There is a learning curve as its not set up like any adobe product but once you get used to it, not bad at all.
Cant wait to see you on artjournaling.ning let me know if you ever want to run a workshop on there. It would be great!

The personal loans seem to be important for guys, which are willing to start their own company. As a fact, this is very easy to receive a car loan.
